Can I cancel my order?
All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as they are placed. During this process we incur irreversible fees.
Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be changed sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:
- If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will be assessed a 6% cancellation fee before credit is issued.
- If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, please follow our Return Policies & Procedures. The cancellation will have to be treated as a Return with all applicable fees.
- Orders which are REFUSED AT DELIVERY will be assessed all of the applicable fees listed above - including restocking, cancellation and other applicable fees.
I entered the wrong address and the order has been shipped, now what will happen?
We are sorry that this happened, and we have definitely been there. We understand that mistakes happen, and we want to do whatever we can to get your lash supplies to you ASAP!
However, we are asking you, the customer, to understand that we are a small business and every time we have to re-ship we end up losing money on the sale. Not just losing profit, but losing money. We would like our customers to review and please be understanding of the following policy:
If you have made an error in entering your address, we will need to send you an invoice to cover the complete cost of re-shipping your order once it has been returned-to-sender. We understand that that means your lash supplies will arrive to you very late and not in time when you need them. If this is not your preference, the other option would be to refund your order, less our cost of shipping and a 15% penalty.
This policy is not our preference, nor is it our first choice. However, the simplest solution to this problem is to carefully enter and review your address as you are placing your order.
How do discounts, sales and special offers work?
All offers are limited to stock on hand; no rain checks or vouchers are available unless otherwise noted. Not valid after purchase, on prior purchases, gift cards, gift certificates, taxes, shipping, or handling and processing charges. Purchaser must pay applicable sales tax. Offer may not be combined with any other sale, promotion, discount, code, promo, coupon and/or offer. Promotions have no cash value. Offer cannot be sold, transferred, or otherwise bartered. Why does my order need extra verification?
Please do not take offense or feel upset in any way. Today’s world is full of credit card fraud, to protect us, our customers and credit card owners we may ask for verification documents for various reasons. Such as…
- Your order has a high chance of fraud or has been flagged as “high-risk”.
- The distance between your billing address and ordering location is very far or the locations do not match.
- The billing address you provided does not match the address registered to the debit/credit card (AVS mismatch or not defined).
- First-time high value orders or with Next Day Delivery service
If you’ve ever been asked for your ID when making a purchase at a store using your credit card, this is no different. We simply want to be sure that all your account details are correct, that the credit card is authorized for use by you and sometimes our anti-fraud system does make mistakes. Once the requested documents have been provided to us, we will activate and approve your order ASAP.
When providing your ID, make sure that:
- You hide all information except your name, address, and photo on the ID card.
- The name on the ID card matches the cardholder name used at checkout.
Note: In an effort to reduce fraudulent transactions and increase credit card security, all flagged orders are automatically canceled after 7 days if there are no steps taken to verify your identity.

What is the cut off time for shipping orders?
All orders need to be placed by 1:00 pm ET Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) in order for them to be shipped out on the same day. Any order placed after 1:00 pm ET will be shipped out on the next business day.
When will my order ship?
When will I receive my order?
Domestic orders normally arrive within 2-7 business days of shipping, unless otherwise noted.
International orders normally arrive within 3-21 business days of shipping depending on shipping service you choose at checkout. Please note that these orders need to pass through the customs office in your country before it will be released for final delivery, which can occasionally cause additional delays.
Once an order leaves our warehouse, carrier shipping delays may occur due to factors outside our control. We unfortunately can’t control how quickly an order arrives once it has left our warehouse. Contacting the carrier is the best way to get more insight into your package’s location and estimated delivery date.
Note: The shipping timeline estimate begins AFTER your order is fulfilled by our team. Please allow 1-2 business days for order fulfillment and then the quoted time for shipping and delivery.
What is an estimated delivery date?
The estimated delivery date is when your order should arrive. Generally, the estimated delivery date is based on a combination of the processing time for the items you ordered, the transit time and today’s date.
Processing time + Carrier transit time + 1 day = Estimated Delivery Date
For example: If the processing time for an item you purchased is 1-2 days, and the transit time for the shipping method you chose is usually 2-4 days, your estimated delivery date is 3-6 days from today.
What is Package Protection?
Adding Shipping Protection to your cart at checkout to safeguard against any unforeseen hiccups that may arise. By purchasing Shipping Protection, we will reship your order free of charge in the event of damage, loss, or delivered by the carrier, but not received. In the event that a replacement is not available, we will issue you a refund.
If you choose to not protect your order with Shipping Protection, Mega Lash Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages.
My tracking says my order was delivered, but I haven’t gotten it yet. Where is it?
Sometimes carriers prematurely mark packages as delivered before they actually deliver it. Though unusual, this can happen up to 5 days before an item is actually delivered. You can try contacting the carrier to get better insight into the delay.
Do I have to purchase Package Protection with my order?
No, you do not have to purchase Package Protection on your order!
If you opt out of this insurance, Mega Lash Academy is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages that occur while in transit.
You can opt out prior and during checkout.
Do you ship outside of the U.S?
Yes, we do! Currently, we ship to the following Countries and Territories:
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey.
Shipping costs for orders outside of the U.S. vary depending on the destination. The shipping costs for international orders are displayed on the checkout page.
Please note that international shipments may be subject to customs processing and additional charges. Mega Lash Academy is not responsible in any way to cover such costs. The customer is responsible for customs clearing/duties, and local taxation.
Customs policies vary from country to country, therefore you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays in arrival.
How much can I expect to pay for customs/duties?

What is your return policy?
We gladly accept returns on products that is unused, in its original packaging and in resalable condition within 14 days from the delivery date.
All returned products must be unused, undamaged and packaged in the original boxes (if applicable) in order to ensure a credit refund. Please understand that we reserve the right to refuse a refund request if a return does not comply with this policy.
- Liquid products, including cleansers, adhesives, bonders, primers, etc. are non-returnable.
- We do not accept returns on items purchased during a promotion, e.g, Doorbusters, BOGO and/or Not Up To Par Sale. Please note that ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.

How do I return my order?
To be eligible for a return, the item(s) must be in new, unused and resalable condition with labels and tags attached. To initiate a return, please go to our Returns Center to get a RMA number. No return will be accepted without prior authorization.
Return packages must be sent with tracking details and the products must be sufficiently protected from damage. Mega Lash Academy is not responsible for any items lost in transit or for any breakages that occur in transit.
Once we receive and have inspected the item, we’ll notify you via email the approval or rejection of your return.
For returns that are due to change of mind or that are not the result of a manufacturer defect these will incur a restocking fee of 15% of the product value.

What happens if I return an item that does not qualify for a refund? Can I have it shipped back to me?
If the item(s) is not eligible for a refund and the product was sent back to our warehouse regardless, we will have no way to reship the product back to you and it will be considered a loss. If you're unsure of the quality of your return, please reach out to our team to confirm at email@example.com
Has my return been processed?
Once a return has been delivered back to us it can take approximately 5 business days before it will be processed and refunded.
If it has been more than 10 business days, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and we will be glad to assist.
Can I exchange my item(s)?
As an e-commerce shop, we do not offer typical exchanges. If you would like to exchange your product in its original condition, please follow the return procedures and place a new order for your preferred item(s). You can do this at your earliest convenience by placing an order now so it ships asap, or you can wait until we've processed your refund.
How long does lash adhesive last?
Our unopened lash adhesive has a max life span of 8 months from the manufacture date if stored properly. This can be found printed on the side or bottom of the bottle. Once opened, we recommend changing your glue bottle every 4 weeks for the best retention, and maximum every 6 weeks (if the glue consistency do not change). We recommend writing the date of when you opened it so you always remember.
How should I store my lash adhesive?
Always keep the adhesive top clean throughout the application process using a disposable glue wipes - this will prevent any clogging. Ensure lid is clean and on tight after each use. *Do not use natural fibers, such as Q-tips, they will get stuck and will produce heat or even a fire.
Store your glue at room temperature (68-72°F) in a cool, dark place, away from humidity and direct sunlight. This helps with the consistency of the adhesive.
You could also store your glue in an airtight container. Some lash techs store their glues in a box with rice, as rice absorbs any potential moisture in the air.
Tip: Always have a fresh back up bottle ready to go in case of an emergency, nobody wants to get caught in the middle of an appointment with no glue on hand.
Which is the best lash glue?
The best lash glue for you will depend on a few different factors. As a beginner, you’ll be looking more at glues like Tempo which have a more gradual drying time (1-2 seconds).
For the most accurate suggestion, you’ll need to know:
- Your room temperature.
- Your room humidity.
- How long it takes you to place an extension on the natural lash after you’ve dipped it into the glue.
It’s worth investing in a hygrometer to keep an eye on your typical room conditions.
Is your adhesive latex free?
Yes, all of our adhesives are latex and formaldehyde free!
Which glue should I use when working with colored lashes?
Clear, or transparent glue is colored lashes' best friend, especially lashes with light color, for example, light blue, yellow, pink or white. To create a bright and colorful look that truly pops - use a clear adhesive. This way the bonding won’t be visible, which is especially helpful when using bright colors. Our Clear Vibe adhesive is the perfect choice for this!
Alternatively, you can use a black adhesive to create a more defined eyeliner effect. When working with darker colored lashes, for example, dark blue or brown - try using black glue. You will be surprised how easily you can achieve an eyeliner effect this way.
P.S. Make sure your glue application is spot on, as it will be more visible with colored lashes!
Which glue is best for clients with sensitive eyes?
All our glues contain the same active ingredient, which is cyanoacrylate. The majority of allergic reactions are caused by the fumes of cyanoacrylate. If a client has experienced a reaction, the likelihood is now they will always be allergic. That is why we do not recommend performing a treatment on a client who had previously developed an allergic reaction to the adhesive or is showing any signs of the reaction.
If you perform a treatment on a client with contraindications to the treatment, you may not be covered under your beauty insurance.
Clients who experience just mild discomfort from the glue fumes may benefit from reducing the fumes with Megabonder at the end of the treatment.
Why my lash glue became stringy (gloopy)?
There are a few reasons why your glue could become string (or gloopy), however, it usually comes down to incorrect storage and care of the bottle itself.
Here is a little checklist to prevent it from happening:
- Ensure your glue is not expired and that it was stored correctly in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and protected from humidity.
- Ensure that no residue glue in the nozzle has been pushed back into the glue bottle - this may ruin the rest of the glue.
- Check if your glue has not been opened for longer than 6 weeks.
- Ensure you close the cap right after pouring out the drop of glue as otherwise, the glue can start changing its consistency.
- Do NOT wipe the nozzle with a wet wipe as it may cause the glue in the bottle to become stringy.
My glue nozzle is clogged, what now?
You can purchase spare nozzles to replace the blocked nozzle.
To prevent it from happening in the future, please ensure to clean your glue nozzle after every use with a lint-free wipe, always store your glue correctly.
Why does my glue bottle has white residue?
The white residue on your glue bottle is adhesive that has shock polymerised due to exposure to moisture. This may be caused by not storing your glue correctly or by not fully closing the glue cap.
Please ensure you always store the glue in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight and that the glue cap is always fully attached to the bottle.
My lash glue appears clear, is this normal?
Every glue should be shaken for at least 1-2 minutes prior to use for the ingredients to mix.
Unless you are using Clear Vibe, which is a clear glue, your glue drop should always be black without any traces of transparent liquid. Ensure you shake the glue not only before the first use of the day but also each time you open it to refresh your glue drop.
Does Mega Lash Academy sell mink lashes?
All our lashes are made from synthetic material so are completely cruelty-free and hypoallergenic, they are soft and great to work with.
I am new to Promade fans, which should I buy?
First, determine what style you want to create with Promade fans. Whether it's fluffy lashes or a more defined eyeliner volume look, there are different options available to support the look you are looking for.
Our Rapid Promade 3D would help bring the most natural look to your set.
If you are looking to create a hybrid set, we would suggest getting our Rapid Promade 4D, 5D and 6D.
Anything from 8D and up would be ideal for a volume set. Lastly, if you are after the super full and glamorous mega volume style, then you would need a mix of 10D to 18D.
Does Mega Lash Academy lashes cruelty-free?
All of Mega Lash Academy lashes are made from synthetic material, so they are completely cruelty-free and hypoallergenic.

What is ‘Buy Now, Pay Later?’
The term ‘Buy now pay later’ (a.k.a BNPL ) is referring to the customer taking home their purchase but paying for it over time.
In the past, ‘Pay later’ shopping typically referred to an interest-free period following the purchase, during which no payments were made and no interest charged. However, after this interest-free period, payment in full was expected otherwise the interest from the original time of purchase was added.
Finance technology has revived the concept of ‘Shop now, pay later’, with modern versions much clearer about the payment and interest plan over the period of the loan.
So, how does 'Buy Now, Pay Later' work?
Shop now and spread the cost across 4 interest-free installments to be charged every 2 weeks. Every purchase will be evaluated and approved by Shop Pay or Klarna.
The maximum spend allotted is based on your history with the service. The longer you have been using ‘pay in 4’ successfully, the more likely you will be able to spend more. A minimum spend of $10 is required.

How do I sign up?
If your cart is eligible for 4 interest-free payments, the option will be presented at checkout. After confirming your phone number, you’ll be sent an SMS message to confirm your identity. What is Package Protection?
MLA Package Protection is a solution that helps cover you in the event that your order gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit. We know how frustrating it is to have something happen to your order, so we’ve partnered with Shipsurance to offer added assurance that you’re supported, no matter what.
How does Package Protection work?
If your order with Package Protection ends up lost, damaged, or stolen, our support team will helps ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded as preferred. Claims will be reviewed for approval within 5-7 business days from filing.

How does Package Protection process refunds or reorders?
Refunds: When refunding an item, Package Protection covers the subtotal of the order. Shipping costs, taxes, and the Package Protection fees are not included.
Reorders: We will resend the items, depending on in-stock availability. Unavailable items will be refunded. We will cover the cost of any reorders including shipping, taxes, and Package Protection fee.
When should I file a claim?
Marked As Delivered (Stolen)
Claims will be reviewed no earlier than 5 calendar days and no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.
Please note, orders over $100 USD may require a police report to be filed by the customer before any resolution can occur.
Stuck In Transit (Lost)
For domestic orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 7 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date.
For international orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 20 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date.
Claims for damaged items require photos of the packaging and item(s) and must be filed no later than 5 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.
Do you have a physical store or somewhere I can come to pick up order?
We do not have a physical shop, we are an online-based company.
How can I find my order history?
To view your previous order history with us, you can log in to your account.
Any previous orders associated with your email address will be listed here.
If you have previously placed an order but have not created an account, please register here using the same email address you used to place your order. Then, once the account is activated and you are logged in, you will be able to see your previous orders.
Should I lash pregnant client(s)?
This is something which is down to the individual salon/lash technician/client/insurance. When performing a treatment on a pregnant client there is a risk that in the event of an allergic reaction, the client wouldn’t be able to have any medicine to reduce the symptoms. We always recommend checking with your insurance provider if they cover you in the event of working with pregnant clients and making an individual decision based on that.
