Mega Lash Academy Wins Best of the Best 2025 - Tampa Bay Times
If you had told me a few years ago that Mega Lash Academy would be voted Best of the Best 2025 in the Tampa Bay Times… I probably would’ve laughed and gone back to packing lash orders from my basement.
But here we are. Pinch me, because this still doesn’t feel real.
How It All Began
Mega Lash Academy started with a dream (and a whole lot of late nights). Investors or some fancy business plan didn't back us, I was simply a stay-at-home mom with a toddler who adored this craft, alongside a long-time lash artist friend who wished for better products, improved tools, and a community that truly felt like home.
I remember shipping out my very first orders in bubble mailers from a HyVee, I remember wondering if anyone would even find us, or if people would trust this brand we were building from scratch. But one thing I did know? Lash artists deserve products that work as hard as they do.
The Road Wasn’t Always Pretty
Let’s be real, it hasn’t been all glitter and lash trays. There were plenty of moments of doubt, mistakes, and tears (oh yes, LOTS of tears). There were times when packages got delayed, when the lash artists were unfamiliar with our Rapid Promade Fans®, where I felt like I was juggling a million things, or when it felt like the world was telling me, “This isn’t going to work.”
But something inside me wouldn’t let me quit. And truthfully, it was YOU. This community. Every kind message, every review, every client selfie tagging us in their beautiful sets reminded me why Mega Lash Academy mattered.
How We Got Here
Fast forward to today: we’ve gone from a one-woman hustle to a small but mighty team. We’ve shipped thousands of orders across the U.S. (and even overseas!). We’ve created products that lash artists rave about. And most importantly, we’ve built a family of lash bosses who inspire us daily.
And now, to be named Best of the Best 2025 in the Tampa Bay Times? That’s not just our win—that’s your win. Because this award is proof of what happens when women (and men!) chase their passion, support each other, and keep showing up even when it’s hard.
What This Award Means
This isn’t just a shiny badge or a title, it’s a symbol of everything we’ve poured into this brand. It means those nights of working until 2 AM mattered. It means our lash artists trust us. It means Tampa Bay and beyond see Mega Lash Academy as something special.
It’s validation, but more than that, it’s motivation to keep going bigger, better, and bolder.
