How are Velo Fans different from Rapid Promade Fans®?
Both are handmade promade fans. Rapid Promade Fans® come in our stacked strip format. Velo Fans are set up so you can lift a fan and go straight into adhesive, with no setting it down to reposition first.
Which density should I start with?
If you're new to Velo, start with the 6D Full Lengths Trial. It has every length from 7 to 14 mm in one tray. For hybrids, 3D is a good fit. For mega volume, go with 10D or 14D.
What do the lengths on a mixed tray mean?
Mixed trays hold three lengths in one tray, like 8-9-10 mm or 12-13-14 mm, so you can map a set without switching trays. Some densities also come in single length trays, like 11 mm only.
How many fans are in a tray?
810 fans per tray (±1%) in every density except 14D, which has 650.
When will my order ship?
