What are the lashes made of?

All Mega Lash Academy lashes are made from the highest quality Korean PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate). They are also referred to as faux mink or faux silk lashes.

The lashes are extremely soft and lightweight, while maintaining a long-lasting curl. And lashes made from PBT have the least chance of causing an allergic reaction to skin compared to all other eyelash extension materials on the market.
How to use

Simply pick up the spike at just above the lash strip.
Dip spike in adhesive, about 3mm from the base, best if using a fast-drying adhesive.
Place the spike underneath natural lash for extra support.

*Do not apply too much pressure near the tip of the spikes with tweezers as this will cause damage to the spike.
*Use spikes 3mm or longer to the rest of your set so the spikes can stand out more.

  • Each spike is made from 5 0.07 lashes.
  • 3 lengths per box: 12-13-14mm, 14-15-16mm and 16-17-18mm.
  • Each tray has 12 rows.

Application Recommendations
Before you embark on your journey with Decal Spikes, consider the following:

  • Apply the decal spikes exclusively to healthy natural lashes. This precaution is essential due to the combined weight of the spikes and decal stickers.
  • Decal lashes are designed to accentuate a look rather than being applied as a full set.
  • When picking up a spike, grab it just below the halfway point.
  • Avoid applying excessive pressure near the tip of the spike to prevent damage.
  • Opt for fast-drying adhesive for a secure hold. 
  • Dip adhesive to around 3mm from the base of the spike and then place it beneath the natural lash for added support.
  • To make the spikes truly stand out, use 3mm or longer spikes throughout the rest of the set.

Caring for Decal Lashes
To maintain their charm, clients should handle them with care:

  • Lash decals should not be brushed, but they can gently brush the other extensions, avoiding the strands with decals.
  • Aftercare is crucial. Clients who desire long-lasting lash decals should take extra precautions.

    UPS doesn’t deliver on weekends or holidays, or to P.O. Boxes.

    So fun

    My clients are really enjoying these fun spikes. They hold up a lot better than I expected. The spikes stay on and the decals stay on for a week or so. You MUST put the spikes on a health lash due to the weight of the spike. So far, they have not caused any lash damage to my clients.

    Decal spikes

    They are fun! However, the decals pop off way to easily. During application and while removing the strip from the lash tray. Also, the spikes are too think and heavy.

    Hi Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on our Decal Spikes.

    The spikes are on the thicker side because they're made with 0.07 lashes. We attempted to make the spikes with smaller diameter lashes (0.05 and 0.03) but they didn't hold their curl and shape, they flopped to the side as soon as we attached the decal stickers.

    We suggest you to apply the spikes only on the healthy natural lashes for best hold results, also, use as little pressure as possible when pick up the spikes to avoid loosening of the decals.

    There's always a learning curve with new products and we really hope that you could give us another try. Thanks again and we appreciate your business!
