- Be sure to shake your adhesive vigorously for 45 - 90 seconds each time you use it.
- Dip to 2-3 mm of lash base in adhesive and apply to isolated lash, 0.5-1 mm away from the skin, along the Lash line.
- Replace the adhesive drop when there's a change in its consistency (approximately after 15-20 minutes).
- Always do lash extensions in a well-ventilated room.
- Make sure clients' eyes are tightly closed throughout the application process.

The lower your humidity, the slower your adhesive cures.

Tempo is a medium-viscosity lash adhesive formulated for beginner and intermediate lash artists who need a glue that keeps up with them without punishing small mistakes. The 1-2 second set time gives you just enough working window to place fans or classic lashes with confidence, and the 6-8 week hold means your clients leave knowing their lashes will last.

It's not the fastest adhesive on the market, and that's the point. Tempo is designed to give you room to work while still delivering professional retention results.

Who Tempo Is For

Tempo is a great starting point if you're still building speed or working toward consistent placement. The medium viscosity means it's not too thin and runny, and not too thick and stiff. It flows off the jade stone or glue ring cleanly and gives you a predictable bead every time.

It also works well for artists who have been using a faster adhesive and want something with a slightly longer open time, whether that's because of the environment they work in, client sensitivity, or personal preference.

If you're doing classic, hybrid, or volume sets and want a glue that doesn't require perfect conditions to perform, Tempo is worth trying.

Humidity, Temperature, and Why Your Environment Matters

Lash adhesive is cyanoacrylate-based, which means it cures through moisture. Humidity is not your enemy. But the wrong humidity range will make your adhesive behave unpredictably.

Tempo's optimal environment:

  • Humidity: 40-70%
  • Temperature: 71-79°F (22-26°C)
  • Ventilation: Always work in a well-ventilated room

Too dry (below 40%) and the adhesive cures slowly, which can cause weak retention and lashes that fall off prematurely. Too humid (above 70%) and it cures too fast, which leads to shock polymerization, poor bonding, and potential sensitivity for your client.

If you don't already have a hygrometer in your lash room, it's one of the most practical tools you can add to your setup. Knowing your exact humidity helps you troubleshoot retention issues before they become a pattern.

Storage Instructions

  • Store upright in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat sources
  • Keep away from open flames
  • Once opened, store in an airtight container with dry rice or silica gel packets to absorb any ambient moisture
  • Do not refrigerate unless the bottle is completely sealed and you allow it to fully return to room temperature before opening

Frequently Asked Questions

Can beginners use Tempo? Yes. The 1-2 second set time gives you enough open working time to adjust placement without the lash bonding before you're ready. It's one of the reasons Tempo is recommended for artists who are still developing speed and consistency.

What humidity is best for Tempo? Between 40-70%. If your room tends to run dry, a small humidifier near your workspace can help. If it runs humid, a dehumidifier or air conditioning will bring conditions into range.

How long does a bottle last? Once opened, plan to use Tempo within 4-6 weeks. Proper storage in an airtight container with silica gel packets helps extend the life of the bottle after opening.

Is Tempo safe for sensitive clients? Tempo is latex-free. Like all cyanoacrylate-based adhesives, it is not suitable for clients with known cyanoacrylate allergies. Always perform a patch test for new clients with a history of sensitivities.

We do our best to process and ship orders as quickly as possible so you can get your lash supplies without delay. Orders placed before 2 PM (ET), Monday through Friday, are typically shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 2 PM (ET) will ship on the next business day.

All orders come with Package Protection, unless deselect by customer prior or during checkout. If you choose to not protect your order with Package Protection, Mega Lash Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages.

In rare cases, orders may be flagged for additional verification. Orders valued over $700 may require ID verification before shipment. If verification is required, our team will contact you within 1 business day. If the requested verification is not received within 5 days, the order may be canceled and refunded to the original payment method. Mega Lash Academy reserves the right to hold, cancel, or refund any order that cannot be verified.

Delivery Times

As soon as you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email. It then takes up to 1 business day to process your order, after which we will ship your package. We may experience a high volume of orders during sales and holidays and you may experience delays. Shipping timelines begin after your order has been processed and fulfilled.

Package Protection (Powered by Re:do)

Package Protection is automatically added at checkout to help protect your order from loss, theft, or damage during transit. The fee is based on order value and can be removed before checkout if you prefer.

If Package Protection is not selected, Mega Lash Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

PackageProtection is non-refundable and cannot be canceled after an order has shipped.

Claims may be denied in cases of suspected fraud or if delivery confirmation (GPS or photo) shows the package was delivered to the address provided.

Order Cancellation Policy

All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as they are placed. During this process, we incur irreversible fees. Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be changed sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:

• Orders canceled before shipment are subject to a 3% cancellation fee
• Orders canceled after shipment must follow our Return Policy
• Orders refused at delivery may incur cancellation and return fees

Incorrect Address / Returned Packages

We are sorry that this happened, and we have definitely been there. We understand that mistakes happen, and we want to do whatever we can to get your lash supplies to you ASAP!

However, we are asking you, the customer, to understand that we are a small business and every time we have to re-ship we end up losing money on the sale. Not just losing profit, but losing money. We would like our customers to review and please be understanding of the following policy:

If you have made an error in entering your address, we will need to send you an invoice to cover the complete cost of re-shipping your order once it has been returned to sender. We understand that that means your lash supplies will arrive to you very late and not in time when you need them. If this is not your preference, the other option would be to refund your order, less our cost of shipping, insurance premium (if any) and a 15% processing fee.

This policy is not our preference, nor is it our first choice. However, the simplest solution to this problem is to carefully enter and review your address when placing your order.

Unprotected Packages

Once a package shows delivery confirmation to the address provided, Mega Lash Academy cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If Package Protection was not purchased, customers must file a claim directly with the carrier.

Packages will not be reshipped or refunded if they are marked delivered and Package Protection was not selected.

    International Orders

    If you are ordering from outside the United States, please review our International Shipping page for additional information regarding customs duties, taxes, and delivery policies.

    We take great pride in the products we create at Mega Lash Academy and truly hope you love them as much as we do. However, we understand that sometimes things do not work out.

    We accept returns within 14 days of the delivery date. Eligible items may be exchanged, returned for store credit, or refunded to the original payment method.

    To qualify for a return, all items must be:

    • Unused and undamaged
    • In their original packaging (if applicable)
    • In the same condition as received

    Once your return request is approved, the items must be shipped back within 10 days. Our inventory moves quickly to support lash artists who rely on timely restocks, so returning items promptly helps us keep products available for everyone.

    Mega Lash Academy reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds if the items do not meet the conditions above.

    If the item(s) is not eligible for a refund and the product was sent back to our warehouse regardless (item was used, promade lash strips sizes got mixed up or missing, etc.), you will not receive a reimbursement and you have to pay the shipping fees to get your items shipped back to you. Otherwise, your item will be discarded or donated. If you're unsure of the quality of your return, please reach out to our team to confirm at support@megalashacademy.com

    Please understand that we reserve the right to refuse a refund request if a return does not comply with our policies. 

    Package Protection & Return Coverage (Re:do Checkout+)

    We partner with Re:do to offer an easier return and exchange experience.

    If Re:do is included on your order, you will have access to a simple return portal with included return shipping and faster processing.

    If you opt out of Re:do during checkout, return shipping will be the customer's responsibility and returns will follow our standard policy.

    Exclusions

    The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

    • Liquid products including cleansers, adhesives, bonders, primers, and similar items
    • Sale items or products discounted before a promo code is applied, including: wholesale items, doorbusters, BOGO promotions, Clearance items, Not Up To Par items

    These purchases are considered final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

    Please note that original shipping fees and shipping insurance (Package Protection) are non-refundable.

    Return & Exchange Process

    To start a return or exchange, please visit our Returns Center

    Returns requested due to change of mind or reasons unrelated to a product defect will incur a 10% restocking fee based on the purchase value.

    Once your return is received and inspected, please allow up to 7 business days for processing.

    Refunds will be issued according to the original payment method:

    Credit or debit card purchases will be refunded to the original card
    Gift card purchases will be refunded to a new gift card sent via email
    • If an order was paid using both a gift card and a credit/debit card, the refund will be issued to a gift card
